Costs:

Consultations are charged according to the length of the appointment.  Initial appointments are typically 30 minutes in duration.  Subsequent appointments may be shorter or longer depending on the treatment protocols being used.

Consultations over the phone, or by email, may also be provided between surgery consultations.

No new clients can be treated by phone or e mail due to veterinary regulation by the vet surgeons board.

The minimum consultation cost is $50 July 2007. This may increase as time progresses.  For consultations lasting longer than 15 minutes, a further cost of $50 per additional quarter hour is charged.

Cancellations:
We request that cancellation of appointments be made at least 24 business hours before the due date. As we are usually booked well in advance, this will enable us to allocate your appointment to a waiting client. We appreciate your care and consideration in this matter.

Waiting Time:
I understand your time is valuable and endeavor to adhere to the appointment schedule. However, as I am committed to providing a comprehensive professional service to all clients, appointments often continue beyond the scheduled time. Also, emergencies do occur and are unpredictable. I ask for your understanding and compassion in these matters. I do recommend that you book adequate time and allow for delays with regards to other engagements after your clinic appointment.

Should your time commitments be pressing, please ring to check whether the vet is running on time before attending.
