LIFE EXPERIENCE: (first person)
Mother:I have perfect children, now successful adults.
Farmer: At one point my ex husband and I had 8000 sheep , 500 breeding cows, and I had 4 horses. I did the drenching, dipping and parasite management. I now have 4 cows , University of Queensland Droughtmasters, 2 retired cows( 17 yo freisian brahmin x) 30 chooks ( lohmans, leghorns and csiros) , 5 turkeys( Holland whites, standard and double breasted) and 1 retired 25 year old thoroughbred brood mare coming soon when the moving ban stops.
The droughtmasters were wonderful during our long drought, with a lower water consumption and higher growth rate than expected.
All my horse have been Star Kingdom descendents. This is an intersting strain of thoroughbred, it combines high sensitivy with the abiity to think, run fast and needs to be treated well to obtain the best results. My old trail horse, Piednippe boy had been winner of both Kalgoorlie and Eperance cups.
Musician: I have a wide interest in music and geology, especially where it can also be used for healing and meditation.
